The doctor is free to reapply for registration immediately after he sought help for his crystal meth addiction

A GP who was addicted to crystal methamphetamine and shaved his body to avoid providing a hair sample for drug-testing has been banned.

The regional practice owner started using the illicit drug in 2010 and sometimes took it as an “eye opener” before starting work on Monday mornings, according to a Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
