Bethany, a 42-year-old right-handed ED physician presents to her GP with numbness and burning affecting the lateral aspect of her right forearm.
The symptoms have been present for approximately three weeks.
In the weeks leading up to her presentation, there had been a brief period of general malaise, but this had completely resolved prior to the onset of sensory symptoms.
There is no history of neck pain, shoulder pain, trauma or unusual repetitive use of the forearm.
